VLADIMIR KARALEEV is an advanced contemporary brand founded in 2010 in Berlin, Germany. The label is recognized for experimental garment construction and a raw aesthetic.
Each collection explores deconstruction, asymmetry, and collage-like layering, combining minimalist forms with bold textures and color.
Sustainability is central to the brand’s approach. Production is carried out locally in Sofia, Bulgaria, using zero-waste cutting techniques, deadstock fabrics, and upcycled elements. All garments are 100% traceable, from the mills that supply the fabrics to the production studio where they are made.
Vladimir’s collections reflect both a conceptual understanding of clothing as a medium and its functional purpose. The brand aims to define modern daywear, striking a balance between craftsmanship and functionality while maintaining a commitment to responsible and transparent production.
Vladimir Karaleev, born in 1981 in Sofia, Bulgaria, studied fashion design at the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) in Berlin, Germany. Following his studies, he founded his eponymous label in 2010 and was included within a short time in the official schedule of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin. In 2014 and 2017 he was nominated for the International Woolmark Prize.
Vladimir's collections are represented in numerous concept stores in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
